Works quite well, much better and more reliably than a worn-out OXO.

Quite a many times. It works almost as quickly as a typical manual household can opener.

When that OXO or similar messes the lid up. Pushes the metal down but doesn't cut it. You can fix it with the can opener on your SAK.

I think the can opener on an SAK is pure genius. I am continually impressed with how well it works.

I agree it’s an excellent can opener, but for me the best thing about it is the fact that it also has the phillips screwdriver tip. I had just finished using it as a screwdriver when I took this photo a few weeks ago. It really is a brilliant design.

A couple of years ago I saw one of these that the great Robert Lessard had made, and I decided I would make one for myself. It is the only “mod” I’ve ever done.

Where did you get SAK/flashlight combo leather slip? I really like that.

Made it myself a few years ago , it’s actually a belt sheath not a slip and I call it my BBQ sheath because with a 3 layer SAK and a flashlight you can cover all eventualities at a BBQ .

I had Robert make a Ti Waiter with a saw and a pocket clip. When I swapped the plain handles for skeletonized ones, I lost the pocket clip. I may add one later.
