Did that hole have a bail in it?
I don't know why the red hasn't worn off of the raised shield bit on this one.

Thanks. I didn't know that.Thats a rare one, the BSA sturdy boy. Very nice
My Spartan POLISPECTRAL, my trusty sidekick. With a nice skull/beret bead to remind me of my years in the airborne.

I’ve carried it for a year, it hasn’t come off. Sure there are scratches but I’m pretty impressed. But at 3x the cost of a regular spartan, it’s quite a leap.I like those Polyspectrals a lot. How is the blade finish holding up? Any chance it will scratch off.

Thanks! But the white turns a light yellow/ivory type color over time. I’d recommend the black version if that is bothersome.Yeah, the cost has been the only reason I haven't tried to nab one yet. I always felt that SAKs were knives you weren't afraid to pull out of your pocket for any task and if you broke it, bent it, scratched it, etc. it didn't really matter.
At any rate your Spartan PS looks awesome!
Oh I didn’t know they made the keychain sized ones in alox, very cool!Couple of 2020 Blues today ...
