Top photo shows color leach from a good scrubbing with dish soap... Blades and springs on my carbon GEC's that I intend to carry get cold blued, my sweat tends to rust carbon steel quickly...

Yeah, that cold blue treatment looks great... Very tempted to do that myself but I do like the ol dirty natural patina.
