We have some damn good beer and even better barbecue. And we are always down for a good riot or two!

I'm down for a riot or two.

Actually St Louis has a great disc golf scene. I've been meaning to make a trip for that, anyway, once the weather starts looking a bit nicer. That reason is a whole lot more palatable. to SWMBO, too.

I'm proud of you.

I still need a Rift..... Soon

Sorry, I just had to, I'm an enabler.
Of course you are. Not allowed to post here if you're not.

Sitting here in my work truck drawing knives and being intermittently placed on hold while one.....er, individual after another places me on hold and/or transfers me after not solving THEIR problem. We work for the same company.....but you'd never know it.

edit: can't get the image to upload....

Tim how you enjoying it down here so far? Cold? Lol

My truck hit puberty today... 40 series flowmaster and black stainless pipe. Went from sounding like a motorcycle to a full grown truck haha!

Lol Cold? Its perfect!

In the morning when its around 65F out I like going for my jog's. Now its around 80 and I'm just hanging out. At home... there is a winter storm warning and its 16F out lol. The entire time so far the wife and I have been talking about how we want to move down here lol

Nice...wish I could get my Jeep to growl. Just so damn expensive, and it ain't broke.

So I got my H&B Forge Shawnee hawk. I like the size and weight but I was disappointed in the fit of the head to the handle. The head had some play in it and there must have been a high spot on the handle below where the head was supposed to seat. I had to really pound the handle on the floor to get the head off and it gouged up the handle as it came off and it had really gouged up the handle when the head was put on. So I got the head off and broke out the dremel with a grinding bit and put a bit of a bevel on bother ends of the eye. Then I used a medium rasp to knock down the high spots. Going to have to sand the whole handle and refinish it now. I guess for $60 it's not such a big deal, took me only a few minutes, though I still have some work left to do on it.

Maybe I got a lemon. I did get it from a vendor rather than straight from H&B but it should have still been made to the same standards. I'm not going to totally write them off but I think I'll try someone else if I ever decide to acquire another hawk.

Hmmm...this story sounds a bit far fetched...

Well...maybe not. Stupid photo bucket...

I guess I won't tell my tall tale of how sweet it is to come home to an unexpected nice little hunk of Ka-Bar D2 that I didn't figure on seeing until Wednesday.

I hate photo bucket, but it feels like I'm pretty stuck at this point with so many pics there. It's always broke and glitchy.

I'm telling you, imgur is the way to go. I have yet to have any issues with them so far, very fast load time and a much cleaner interface compared to photobucket.

Yeah, I haven't really heard about the fit one way or the other but people seem to be very happy with them so I would think the fit should be good. I worked it over some along with my CS hawks so I'll go play with them next weekend and see how they work.

Or Flickr....loads of free storage, automatic uploadr - tho I'm still trying to work out how my PRIVATE photos are viewable to friends and family....not that I have anything to hide - but I've got a lot of knife photos on there - which is no big surprise to a lot of my friends....but not ALL of my friends. Surprised a couple of them, for sure.
