Someone must have hit the Snark button on their alarm glock!

Yeah, that might not work. I was wanting to go to a small dam about 40 miles from here, so I figured I may as well get someone to go with, but everyone is busy, sick, or I can't get ahold of them.

I'd go by myself on the big lake, but anywhere worth trying is a very long walk from access points and the ice is getting bad to drive on with a pickup. I believe I'm going to really push to buy an ATV this summer.

love me some spydercos, esp the older ones - got a shoe box full :D

they make some very interesting and "weird" things, their blade shapes are second to none for novelty among other things, utility.

never did get around to some of their new stuff - their prices also jumped into the custom realm :D

Indeed sir!
It's been such a great folder. I absolutely love this thing!
I've tried a few other of the more popular Spyderco's and Benchmade's and the Manix2 beats them all!

It's definitely a well made knife and well worth what they cost. I actually tried another one this past summer, but they just aren't for me I guess. I'm a pm2 guy. They just work better for me for whatever reason.

I have a PM2 and I carried it for several months when I had to start fiddling with the screws I quit carrying it. Is there a special locktite or something I should try?

It's the best movie I've seen this year. As long as you enjoy raunchy comedy mixed with gory action violence you won't be disappointed.

It's how I live everyday.

Movie doesn't start for a while so I swung by DQ for a flamethrower burger and a red velvet blizzard.

I'm actually considering a trip down to GPK, since I know they'll carry a good stock of folders I could compare. Just need to find something else in the St Louis area to do to justify the travel. :) If the S110v PM2 or Manix popped up, I'd jump on one of those immediately (and figuratively). The Valloton is intriguing, actually, as is the Benchmade Torrent. I never should have sold the Bone Collector folder, either. That's a great blade and much more refined than the Mini Grip.

No a fan of the flamethrower burger, but DQ used to make a chili meltdown burger that was pretty darn tasty.

Hmm. Um. Yeah. Is there another David Allen Coe? The one I just looked up had some.. er.. rather interesting lyrics to some interestingly titled songs. Geez, even some if the full on gore fest Death Metal that I like would pale in comparison to the.. ah.. vulgarity, so to speak, of this gentleman. Twas actually a breath of fresh air 'country musicly' speaking however. If it's the same guy that is. I was laughing my butthole off at the song FFS (that is the title abbreviated to its first letters, too rude to spell it out in full) I thought it was hilarious. Would've been a pretty cool concert. Glad you had fun Slicebags..

Aiki, she is all class, just like her mother, thankfully. And that's because I'm like a school in the summer time..

Yup... Same guy.
He had a bunch of hits too tho. And a bunch of others which he wrote and someone else performed, like Take this job and shove it.

He had a bunch of real racist stuff too that he's denounced and apologized for. At one show a few years ago there was a blind black guy in the audience. He kept bumping me and I started to get pissed. Then I realized it was an old blind dude totally jamming out! At one point Dave caught on to him and pulled him up to the front of the stage and told everyone to move over lol.

He never interacts with the audience so I thought that was pretty cool. Everyone should see him once. One of the last outlaws. I missed George Jones's show here just before he passed. Merle is still around but never here. We saw Willie, wife and daughter jammed the stage and got his autograph at the end, that was an awesome show!

I've been threatening to buy a Spyderco for years. I got really close awhile back, but Benchmade rescued me.

Great choice!
Damn...in D2 as well...gonna make me do some Google fu that my wallet can't handle....

I like that one a lot

Just got home from Deadpool. In case you haven't heard, don't take your kids. In fact, don't take anyone to see it that you wouldn't want to explain pegging to. Or worse, find out that they already know what pegging is. And if you don't know what that is, FFS do NOT google it!

Heard a lot of reports like this 😜
This is the one marvel movie I'll probably sit out on.
I don't mind decapitations, limb severing, head smashing, or skin flaying... That is if it's in good taste...
But, when it gets all raunchy, I take a pass.

You didn't say if you liked it or not...

I enjoyed it very much. However I was seriously disappointed in the lack of nudity from Morena Baccarin. lol

Everything about this movie is gratuitous but done in a way that acknowledges it and plays it up for comedic effect. It's not like explosions in a Michael Bay movie, it's done to be silly.

This sounds like my kinda movie for sure! I've only seen the previews 100x. Just waiting for the right time.
