  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Sparkling Smile is a big knife, or it could be....

Yes. That he hasn’t gotten back to me yet and that I’m not going to chase him. I have emailed New Jersey Steel Baron for a quote and am probably going to use them and Peters for my next AEB-L run.

New Jersey Steel Baron got back to me, and are willing to waterjet cut this blade for me from 1/4" AEB-L. I will be putting the deposit invoices together soon.

The design looks great, and double edge offered!

I don't use big knife often, so I will not get it. However, if there is a smaller 6-7" blade version, say Smug Smirk Universal, my money would be your.

I probably won't call it that, but it would be a simple matter to make one like that. Actually, I don't remember your email address, and was hoping to reach out to you about something else, sort of to follow up on a discussion we had a year or two before that I wish I had approached differently. So if you wouldn't mind shooting me a quick email so I have your email address again, I'd be most grateful.

To be honest, I asked for way too much, especially when you were about to finish one of your runs. It was totally on me. When you and guys here gave me other knife smith recommendations, I took what I learnt from our interaction and went with a simpler design. I almost took one of the universal design from your last run, but I was busy out of town.
Still, thank you.

Invoices for 30% deposit have been sent to everyone who is confirmed so far as requesting one of these. Many thanks to everyone, I'm very much looking forward to making them.

My usual hogging belt is already 36 grit. 24 will just make it go a tiny bit faster, and with knives like this that will be a welcome difference.
