After a discussion with Nicole from New Jersey Steel Baron today, it's been determined that I won't be making the Universals, instead I have sent them CAD files for the specific designs to be made for each of you, so a whole lotta clip points, a couple of custom drop points, a few secret blade shapes that will be exclusive to Empire Outfitters, at least for the time being, and literally only two unclaimed blanks, also of another other couple of secret blade shapes. It is possible that some of the secret blade shapes have been seen in this thread, and I know for a fact that some of them have not.

Frankly, I want to keep one for myself, but it can't be a clip point, since I am running only enough of those for orders.

curious....can ya say why? not real important, just ya sparked my curiosity. now it's like a scratch I got to inch....( ref back to my saying it wrong post) thanks.
 
For those of you new to this order process, I am in the habit of sharing updates in the thread. Not all updates, but milestone updates. For example, Nicole emailed me today to inform me that she has been swamped while a co-worker in the NJSB extra services department was out on vacation, and that she would email me tomorrow with the .pdf files to confirm dimensions on all the models in my current order before adding them to next week's cut schedule. Not an update I would normally share, but I am sharing it now since you kids can't stop bouncing up and down in the back seat.
 
Today I received notice that our friends at New Jersey Steel Baron have cut all the blades and have them packaged and ready to ship out to Peters. Thank you for your patience everyone. I'm super excited for this batch!!!
 
That got me thinking... how many Sparkling Smiles fits in a 5 lb package? 🤔 Maybe I'm over-estimating raw steel weights on these 🤣
