Spartan SHF Pic Thread. Let’s See ‘Em!

Last few days I've started showing my shf some love. I've had the shf awhile but it's mostly lived in a drawer while I edc the inkosi. Man, this thing is breaking in SO nicely. I'm glad I decided to give it some pocket time, it's taken over. I just opened a can of condensed milk with it and not a scuff, roll, or any discernable dulling. I know the softness of the can should be no challenge for it, but you'd be surprised at how many knives don't come out completely unscathed. It's drop shut smooth, buttery to flick, and a tank that cuts zucchini pretty damn well. Good Job spartan blades!

What did you put in the lanyard hole?

Join or die buddy! One of my favorite handles for sure! Where did you get that lanyard plug from?

So I got home from a weekend at the lake, and this babe was waiting for me on the doorstep. Needless to say, my wife was none too thrilled. It was a little tough going at first, but after I stripped her down and gave her a good bath, followed by a nice lube, she is giving up that razor edge goodness with ease. Wife is still pissed. Just kidding yall😂

I like that pair of larges you have there, especially the TFG version. I bought my first two Cheburkovs from Florian when their website was German only (Google translated here) and had some very cordial email conversations in English with him along the way. I haven't been back there for some time and just took a look again after seeing your Like and then your post. They've certainly expanded their offerings of knives, though I saw no Russians listed. I suppose that must have to do with the current troubles.

I like that flat gray hardware on your knife too and was going to mention that in my post above. There's a mix of finishes on both your knives and it's something that seems somewhat common on SHF's. On my 3 above the top one has several different shades and finishes of brass/bronze hardware--even more so on the reverse side with its matte clip. That knife, BTW, was custom ordered by abbazaba abbazaba to match the finishes that were only available on the 3.25" versions like B BladeRunner1 's knife up the the page.

I've come more and more to enjoy a lot of variation like that on knives. My motley RHK Firetac has quite the assortment of blade, scale, and hardware materials and finishes and is one of my very favorites for that as well as for its more practical qualities.

I swore that one SHF was enough for me, but my LKS had this Momento Mori in Magnacut. I just had to have it. I bought it for two reasons: I love the theme of the blade and that it sports Spartan's tough yet not exactly pretty DLC on the blade. I like it for the function, but it does not "polish up" for pictures. It's almost like an old school park with some texture to it. So this was purchased as knife that I plan on carrying and scratching up the clip when i bump into stuff. The titanium might get a bit dinged here or there. "Remember you must die"....so carry and use your stuff, right?;)

If they made a stonewash version I would be all over it!
