Great idea for a thread, and some great examples!A place to discuss and post pictures of single blade spey or primary spey bladed knives.
The one that started it all was this
Henry Sears & Sons I grabbed at the Badger Knife Show this year. I picked up this knife and thought that it was interesting. I put it down and perused the other offerings at the other vendor's tables all the while I could not get the knife out of my head. I headed back and after a nice little haggle session. The knife was mine. I did not know at that time that this was going to be an obsession.

And my favorite to date. Edge brand made in Solingen double spey beauty. Stamped "Western Castrator" on the main blade. Don't know the age but I am thrilled to have it.

Please feel free to post pictures of your wonderful speys. I know there are many that I have never seen.
Thanks for the kind words, Bob. Feels good to narrow down to a particular blade shape. I don't know if that will hurt or help my wallet lol. It's great you brought the focus upon the spey Paul.
Some outstanding examples of a very functional knife.

Did Elijah J run when he saw that spey blade?
Agree 100%, Jeff. That thing is a stunner. An amazing Catt, jigged bone just does NOT get any better than that!
Nice set of Speys, Paul!!! They are some of the rarer blades!!Size comparison photo. The 2 GECs are 3 1/2 inches closed and are in the #15 line.
