That is a very nice shape. I have always liked the look off those. You have a great collection and your speys are another example of that my friend.
 
Fun thread Paul! And you have some absolutely lovely examples showcasing the spey.

I'm a big fan of the spey, but not so much the trapper because for me personally, I do not like carry redundant blades (spey/drop or spey/clip). I love all the examples with the Spey main and pen secondary though!

[edit thanks to the wonderful glennbad glennbad ] Here is my favorite knife - an Exotic India Bone 23 (FCK SFO) with the drop point deleted. The large and beautiful spey blade can now be pinched open and it’s just a slicing dream. I’d carry it more, but it’s quite a beast.

That said, I do still have a few other trappers. I have no idea if these spey’s are considered the main blade but they’re the only others I have with speys (aside from a few stockman patterns).
