Food: it is your call --bring what you like and bring enough to feed yourself for 2 days, but not so much you'll be unhappy if you don't eat it all or share it all out. some folks cook for themselves, some share at each meal. it's usually safe to expect communal suppers Friday and Saturday and a communal breakfast Sunday.

how much beer? depends on the beer. ;)
if it's good, bring a couple of cases. if it's not so good, bring enough to make yourself happy. If it's PBR, Terrio will help you out, if it's Bud Select 55, YOYO. :eek:

When to show up -- anything after sunrise on Friday is generally safe.

Stop on Sloan's on your way in, tell them you want the Half Moon Ridge special. They'll get you outfitted. Just tell them to triple the Yuengling's ration.
 
Hey Vik! Im assuming you are bringing your forge set up? My boy and I took a hike on the train tracks by the house last week and collected over 40 RR spikes for everyone to heat and beat on. I also ordered a assortment of new belts as to not exhaust Ethans supply! Again, for any first timers, we usually have a shop day, if anyone has a project or some steel they want to bring there will be plenty people (myself inculded) that will be more than happy to help, teach, show or guide you. No experience necessary. Might bring some saftey glasses though.

I can get glasses, earplugs, safety stuff. Leather gloves are out of my realm at the moment.

Good deal. Looks like there will be a couple of rookies this time so we'll need extra for the initiations. Ethan still has some elbow length rubber gloves, so we're in good shape there. :thumbup:

That's right about the rookies! I was wondering who was bring the sheep for the initiations? I'm not bringing one from Indiana this time, the ride there is pleasant enough but that Sumbitch was pretty grumpy the whole way home! ;) :thumbup:
 
Somebody needs to grab a good sheep on the way. Remember when we substituted a coon Gutsy caught? Boy, that was a dumbass idea. Never do that again.
 
there's always the bear that came by and begged beer & cheese grits a couple years ago.
