All the knives, food and liquor aside, we lost a member of our Becker family this weekend. Kyle (padruig's brother) was taken in an auto accident enroute to the gathering.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Kyle. Thoughts go out to Padruig, his family and loved ones.

This is terrible news, prayers sent for Padruig and his family.

Thank you, all, for the kindness. Seeing all the support come in for Kyle's girlfriend and little boy has been breathtaking and truly a beacon during this difficult time. Life, in its infinite cruelty, robbed Kyle of the one thing he wanted to be over all else - a great dad (and little Finn has been robbed of a hell of a father). We will all miss him terribly. I hope you all will join me in pouring one out for Kyle at future Gatherings - he loved coming to these, they were the highlights of his year (as they are for many of us).
 
So sorry brother. I lost a brother too some years back, I know how hard that is. Hang in there man.
