Spring into Spring with a "Barlow a Day for Thirty Days"

When my GF asks me if I cut the cheese, she means something else entirely.

Day 4?

I'm feeling a bit spacey today. Fortunately, I've got cupcake spock to help me keep track of what day of Barlow-berfest it is 😉!

This one doesn't get a lot of use, but I don't hold that against it, and keep it around nonetheless. It glows, so it's got that going for it. And it's a Barlow. With a funny name: Beerlow. Mine doesn't open beer, mostly just the occasional Jarritos. 🤷

Also, I figured "If you're really gonna go with a space theme, you've got to double down on it with a space-themed lambfoot." So that's what I did.
That is good. Rrrreeeaaallll good. Can’t wait for tomorrow 😁.

Nifty idea Rob. I've been a bit buys lately so I doubt I'll be able to keep up with the daily pictures. But I will enjoy seeing all the pictures here.

Is that a Queen/Dan Burke in D2? I remember when they were all the rage here a few years back, everybody wanted to carry one as flavour of the month but not seen one for ages ;). Very nice to see one emerge and always liked the bone on those, and blade arrangement.

Thanks, Will

Thanks Will, indeed it is the Queen DB. I too am fond of the blade combo and bone, and you are right I don't see these posted much anymore.
Here I am on day 2 now.

Day 5:
No reaming for me today. And, my tobacco was already ribbon cut. But inspired by Jakeywax31 Jakeywax31 's post, here is one of my older barlows with one of my oldest pipes!

The barlow is the well-documented-in-this-thread 1970 10-dot Case with a clip/pen. Pictured with my first ever leather project; a simple slip.

The pipe is an 8711 Drinkless Kaywoodie which dates to approximately 1935-1938. Made in the good ol' US of A! Packed it with some of Cornell & Diehl's Old Joe Krantz. Lit with a 1987 Zippo from Bradford, PA!

Beautiful knife! I hope you’re back to full stride quickly!
Hope you get to feeling better soon. That NYKC HB is a dandy!

Thanks guys !  🤧😊

Good to see you posting my friend !😊
I notice you around these parts every so often. ;)
You might as well keep up with the challenge ...... it really ain't too hard to add a Barlow to your EDC. ;)
A beautiful Queen right there !😍🤧

Hope it’s not too bad and you get over it quickly. Spring might not come if you bail on your own challenge!

Thanks my friend. I told you all it was laxed rules ........... so anything could happen !;)🤣😊🤧

Great challenge! But I'll have to be a voyeur on the sidelines.....can't be relied on to post every day and to be honest I've been culling my Barlow stock for some while and there's more to do ;)

Looking forward to the pix. But I hope it's OK if I'm an occasional / unreliable poster ? Here's evidence:

I think that these are my favorites of the reproduction Russells. Stunning good looks and I suspect a very good Barlow, as well ! 😍 😍 😍

I’ll go with the Russell today
