Spring into Spring with a "Barlow a Day for Thirty Days"

Diggin' up bones ..... two dimes and a nickel says it's Day 25. I dug up my saw-cut bone E.C.Simmons Barlow and a very nicely jigged bone 🐈‍⬛.

Last night, I dug your pretty bone out from my old dresser drawer 🎸🎼
I set it on the table and I talked to it 'til four
I read some old Barlow letters right up 'til the break of dawn
Yeah, I've been sittin' alone, diggin' up bones

Well, you’re not wrong! LOL!

It’s definitely a “break glass in case of emergency” type of snack. It’s been in a bottom drawer in my office for months.
 
Day 23: Happy Friday!

I haven’t had soda (or pop, depending upon from whence you hail) since 26 Dec. Yes, of 2023 - I’m not that strong. :)

I tried giving up my beloved hot tea to entirely cut out caffeine and see if it further reduced headaches. I made it 10 days and caved this morning. I’m pretty sure that if I keep it to a cup a day and instead focus on cutting out other processed foods and sugar, that will get me further down the road.

But man, this tastes goooood this morning!

It's purty durn close to being a Barlow .......... I told Elijah J. 🐈‍⬛ that it might be a Barlow. I asked him ..... do Barlows have lanyard tubes ? He shook his head no.
We stared at the beautiful bone on your Moki and that very finely crafted blade. I said I like that Barlow. He shook his head no.
I said do Barlows have humps along the frame ? He shook his head no.
I said I love that jack knife. He chirped and trilled, jumped down, and went back to sleep. ;)🤣🤣🤣 🐈‍⬛

Another Boker today, this one is a bone covered and carbon steel example I caught fishin' in the bay recently. 🍀

Day 25:

I didn’t know prizes were on the line!! I guess that’s what I get for not reading very closely. In my defense, I always get distracted by the nice pictures.

Anyways, here’s the same ol’ 14 as usual. This time, instead of clearing a space for a picture I’ve decided to just embrace the mess and use some of the kids’ artwork as a backdrop.
