Carrying this knife today so might as well post pics! As a Shaman collector the Bodacious is better in every way. Slimmer in pocket, Thinner blade stock(cuts better), longer edge , and lighter. No just a Shaman without a finger choil!IMG_5652.jpegIMG_5653.jpeg
 
I got myself a SPY27 Bodacious. I also immediately ordered scales from AWT. I have this weird thing where I won’t carry a new knife till the new scales get here. I know, weird right?

Well, I understand it kinda, I suspect you already know how Spydercos flat G10 scales feel and behave, so no worries there friend, chances are you're no more weird than all of us here :D

And hopefully you like your Spydacious, I'm very pleased with mine! It's only my third folding Spyderco, but now, having carried it for almost 6 months exclusively, I noticed myself not checking the website I order from as frequently as I used to (to check up on good deals on or new Spyderco releases), because the Bodacious is just so damn good! Let's see how long this phase will last, I like the idea of having found the ultimate folder for me :)

Also, I recently sharpened mine on a DMT double sided diamond plate (I have the one with holes in it) on the course side and only did a very slight finish with the fine side and two loaded (green and red compound by Skerper) strops, and the edge the knife took is just scary sharp, and it didn't even take long. Great steel, great platform :)

Let us know when you get yours, what you think of it!

The “hump” in the scales never fits my hand properly so I always get AWT scales right away. I know they work for me. :)

And ya…the smooth G10 isn’t my favorite. It’s a little slippery for my liking.

However, I love the look of the Bodacious.
