Mine said "US Ground" which I am translating to UPS Ground. Says "Billing Info received."

I've been looking for a scandi ground blade for a while. I almost pulled the trigger on a Brian Andrew's knife, but couldn't justify the outlay. I'm sure they are worth every penny, but $90 was too good to pass up on this knife. I'm sure a little super glue will fix it right up and if the handles fall off I'll have it rehandled and still come out ahead of most customs. $90 is nothing to sneeze at, but I made more than that today, so I figure I'm still ahead.

Back to the Spydie....all you guys ordering you will not be disappointed....It has to be one of the most comfortable handles I have ever held. A very nice knife to say the least!
 
Looks like a lot of us will have this knife soon. We will need a new thread of all the new owners.
 
Good idea. We have a Spyderco thread and a Wilderness thread. Next we need one in Maintenance, with tips on how to seal the handles.
 
So, is anyone going into business rehandling these? Micarta or G10 would be awfully nice on this hard use knife.
 
Let's see how much work the handles actually need. If you really prefer technical materials over natural, this may not be the knife for you. There are others.
 
I've superglued and sanded handles then used a little clear nail varnish and had great results.
 
If anyone is interested I have a brand new Toyota Camary 4sale. Its super cheap, only a factory recall, replace the braking system and you'd be g2g :) .

I almost bought one on impluse yesterday. Luckily verasign wasn't working and could not process my order. Nice knife.

I picked one up.
For the price and free shipping....twisted my arm good.
I'm picturing Orange G10 with Brass Bolts :D

I have a 3 1/4" flat ground Landi with redwood burl & O1 in a leather sheath that was $89, keep an eye on his stuff :D
