Spyderco Vallotton disapointment

Josh is good peeps. Nothing but top shelf stuff from him. Haven't dealt with him since he moved.out to Vegas tho
 
I hope blade hq gives you a new one or a refund. If a refund see if pvk has any left. He was he only guy who had left hand models as well.

Yes he is, he once sent me a 8 dollar stelleto marked "Microtech dragon slayer proto" as a joke.
 
Received a email from the Customer Service Manager today informing me that he was aware of the situation and was willing to take the knife back for a store credit!
I have written him back to personally thank him; and to make sure that it wasn't lost in translation, I reiterated the fact that I have preformed some modifications to the knife before sending it back.:o
 
Success today bringing business online now largely depends on how close the product care, the customer service, that follows a product purchased, is to the customer.

Online presence is tied to that care. One time bargain buyers look to price. Quality businesses bring that care to a personal level, as it can online, and as one vendor does here. Stand up approach and only adds to its goodwill.

Won't bring up any name, as I'm not sure I can. Haha.

I am Kyle Vallotton. I did the work on that spyderco and i have to apologize. That particular knife
was a test on our cnc(it was the first done on it) and it was finished for a personal carry for us. It was never meant to go out to any dealer
or private sale.

I am glad hq took care of it for you. We will be in contact with them to make sure we make it right with them, since we did
not get the chance to do so with you. Thank you to you and the customer that sent me to the link for this page and brought this to our attention.

Good news, Contacted hq. This test knife is on its way back to us and a new one going out on us of course.

Thank you to the guys who posted up a couple photos of what these should look like. Remember, if a knife is truly from us and
something is wrong with it or stops working please let us know. We guarantee our work, so if its our fault we will fix it free of charge.
We use dremels for deburring and minor material removal, not to carve out an entire functions.

Thank you everyone for your comments and encouraging brandoak to get a hold of us or hq, i only wish this had been brought to our attention sooner.

Love the knives I have that you have modded. The jeweled spring is eye-catching. Once I saw pics of brandoaks knife I knew it wasn't done by you guys. Thanks for impeccable mods.
