Spyderco Vallotton disapointment

Thank you Mr. Vallotton for the heads up and follow through with this knife, its very much appreciated. Ive often wondered, but never thought Id get an explanation to the rogue Spyderco I received.
Its funny, but I have a sense of fulfillment now knowing how the knife ended up in my hands in such a state....now only if Ford would write me next... :)
Blade HQ definitely took care of me with the utmost customer service and proved once again why so many of us blade addicted folk choose them as a trusted supplier.
Maybe in time Ill try my luck again with the purchase of another Spyderco/Vallotton conversion. --Brandon

I have bought a LOT of knives from BladeHQ. There have been times I have had to return a blade because there was a defect. BHQ always took care of me.

Hey Brandoak, I know this thread is over two years old but I recently acquired one of these spyderco/vallotton conversions and noted that the scale screw does jut into the blade channel, that the notch on the backside of the blade had burrs on the edge and looks to not have been cut with an endmill and that the leaf spring was not jeweled. I've been in contact with Vallotton and they've said they will take care of anything that is wrong. I was hoping you could send me your photos of your conversion problems since they're no longer viewable on this thread so I could do a comparison. Thanks and please send to: itsthatsteveguy@gmail.com

Been awhile thats for sure...:) Hard to tell what your dealing with without pictures, could be another prototype that fell into the outgoing mail box...could also be a non-Vallotton custom job...
Kyle and Brandon will make sure you are satisfied and take care of you thats for sure, good people. As for my photos Im afraid I cant help you out. They were stolen by Photobucket.
I wish you the best Sir!

Thank for the reply sir. I'll try to find a way to post you some photos to see if my problems are similar or minor.
