Oh, I don't think we've seen the last of Vinny77. I think that his butchery of the English language, along with his seemingly lack of typing skills was all a big put-on.

Guys like him like the idea of pulling one over his perceived adversaries, gives his feeble third grade mentality a feeling of superiority.

His thanking those forumites was kind of crypyic, you don't suppose there's some way he can pull some kind of computer pranks with user id's or something?

Im pretty sure he was just quoting the section at the bottom of the page that shows the members that are viewing the thread.

Being a troll he wants to show everybody how much attention his thread was getting and is still getting :barf:

To get banned here at BF, those trolls are usually SUPER trolls. Otherwise, it's very forgiving over here.

Moon, the suggestion of an "IP address ban" is a good call. If we're going to have trolls here, might as well make them work at it. I'm not buying that he/she is a graduate student at NYU Stern, either.

It's good that Cougar had him eventually walk the plank...

any computer-wizards here who know how to finally settle the score via internet with this guy? i'm asking because i'm relieved he's off BF, but now he has moved onto his next hangout to continue his demented quest of doom, on the off. spyderco forum!

I think he actually started out over at the Spyderco forums... Im sure he will get banned from there soon. The more attention he gets the more he will troll, just ignore him and he will go away

You mean other than the obvious "pretend to be a sucker that falls for one of his scams to obtain his personal info such as home address and pay him a visit" ? :D

And I thought I was the king of typos as far as BF goes :cool: this laptop keyboard isn't exactly the best I ever used in my life and the fact that I'm blind as a bat doesn't help with my typing skills either. But man, even when supercharged with beer I can't really hold candle to Vinny the poop. Oh well, life sucks :rolleyes:
