Spyderco vs Benhcmade

This really pisses me off. Sal is an honest man who will fix it when it has been done wrong, but this goes against everything Spyderco and Benchmade and the other topmakers stand for. Bringing an honest product for an honest price!

I would feel ashamed to just think about tricking someone into such a way.

I know i am sometimes too friendly and forgiving, but i would rather have a real ******* on the forum then a cheating lying bastard.

This man is responsable for the fact that knive manufacturers change their warranty policy, and only the honest people are the victims when they have a real flaw.

So my advice to Vinny is to leave this and other knife related forum. You are "burned" inhere. leave us and our products alone.

-don't mess with the Mods because they tend to get short tempered if you taunt them.

Wow this thread goes on and on, just read it all as well as the others. About the burr on that knife in the picture I had a hard time seeing it at all and it would be an easy fix. As for Spyderco knives I just got my first today a UK penknife and I am more than happy with it. No flaws with it whatsoever. Best slipjoint I have seen and feels as secure as a slipjoint could possibly be. I don't have firsthand info on Benchmades but Spyderco are top notch in my book.

Vinny whether the knife came with the burr when you bought it or you did it yourself it is a trivial thing and not worth causing all this fuss about. As others have said get a cheaper knife and a sharpening setup and learn.

I am not dyslexic. I just don’t care enough to type clearly. Whatever gets me done faster is what is better to me.

IL be fine being a scammer if that is what you think I am., why shouldn’t I benefit from a company’s mishaps. They messed up, so I take advantage of them. I have done this to Nec/Mitsubishi and taken over $2k from them. hey big deal. I’m good at what I do and it pays for my school.

and BTW I had no; I had no intention of doing anything like this to Spyderco. The fact is that I really has no idea that it was fixable and as my first knife did not think it was acceptable

Now you may ask how did a 19 year old get into all of this stuff. It was a project in school. We were to pick a company and find faults in it. My choice was the non-interconnection of technical support and sales. This is why I profited so greatly from a company's who’s systems were not linked at all. Now How I got the money is something secret to me and me only.

I have also done the same with apple computers and made over $800 on iPod accessories.

if you guys really want to waste your time on vinny77 here, i guess that's up to you. i'm not trying to stir the pot, but i don't like to see BFC members waste their time on someone who is obviously trolling. he's been banned from 3 forums that i can see and seems to drive everyone nuts wherever he goes. his Spyderco issue seemed fishy AT BEST, and after what i've read elsewhere, i'm of the firm belief that he damaged his knife on his own.

IMO, our time could be better spent. moderators, if my post is out of line, i will edit it.
