Should I buy both the new Spyderco Leaf Storm AND the new Spyderco Sage 2 with titanium handle ......or ONE small Sebbie 21 ???

Factor in that the Spydercos may be discontinued some time in the relatively near future.

Good question. I didn't like the ergos or the thin titanium slab of the Leafstorm and sold mine. The Sage 2 is supposed to be great. I would get a used 21 on the sales sections on the different knife Forums. Also the Yuna EQ is worth a look IMO. It's like the leafstorm in size but better in every way IMO.

I think Spyderco's excellent, but CRK is on the next level. These days, I'd take quality over quantity... something that was lost on me when I was younger. fwiw. Buy what you like (and you'll never make a mistake). :)

Ah, but what one person likes often changes like the direction of a breeze... almost unnoticeable, but yet immediate.;)

Spyderco all the way.
Sebenzas are waaaaay too expensive for what you get. Especially nowadays, when the Chris Reeve Integral Lock (RIL) is an available feature on multiple knives produced by Spyderco and some others. I've got production frame lock knives that feel more solid, and appeal to me more. These cost half of the CR knives, which leaves me plenty of money to buy a fixed blade by RAT or BK&T. :D

I had both and now have Spyderco. I like the Hole and the G-10. Both Seb and Spyderco cut equally well.
Oh, My Leafstorm is my favorite small Spyderco... hands down!

The fact that your even asking suggests that you should get the 2 Spydies. You'll know when/if you absolutely need to have a Sebenza.

I'd take the two Spydercos as well. I finally bought my Seb this July because - well - the time was right for me. I just had to have it. I do own 4 Spydercos as well so that says something. However, the Sebenza is very expensive but IMO, still worth it though.

As soon as you buy the Spyderco's, you'll begin to think how the Sebenza would have compared and you'll probably end up with one, then again maybe not. As far as the Sebenza being overated, I think it just depends on what a person wants, and what they are willing to pay. There are several less costly knives than the Sebenza that I feel are overated.

Excellent point. Two of my favorite knives are the Seb and the Military. I had the Military for years before I bought my Seb, and I was content with it. But the Sebenza kept calling to me, so I picked one up last year. I don't regret it one bit. Both companies make excellent knives.

Crk's and many spydercos are overpriced. I would purchase 2 spyderco centofaunte III's and save the rest of my money.
