Hi Moniker,
Thanx for your kind comment. By way of explanation:
The entire "business chain" from; raw materials, invention, design, manufacturing, marketing, selling, distributing, shipping, warrantees, insurance, credit, etc. ALL EXISTS to service the ELU (End Line User). Remove the ELU from the equation and the entire business chain falls like a house of cards. We all work for you!

It's a clip... it's going to get used anyway, right?
Come on Spyderco, do a bit better on the clips, I just bought a brand new Ti Military and while the rest of the knife is great the clip has dings, marks and the end looks "chewed up". I've seen this before with Spydercos I've bought new and when I'd call I'd be told I could purchase a new clip, but they would not send me another free, unless I purchased the knife directly from Spyderco. (I buy from dealers, that sell many Spydercos for Spyderco to imply the dealer did something to the knife is crazy, I'm sure the knife had never been out of the box) Anyway, this knife was over 200 dollars and I get perfect clips on knives costing way less. Spyderco should be able to deliver the same on these knives costing over 200. (the Golden models are always the ones that have the marked up clips, NIB)

No, I'm not using this knife. I bought it just to "have". Like I said if just owned knives to use, I'd have enough already. Just as you may think it's crazy to have 160 knives and use 10 of them, I'd think it crazy to own that many to use. For one thing the value of my collection would be way less if they were all used and what if I have to sell them some day? Not planning to, but who knows.
Even if you are using it, shouldn't you have the right to be the one that puts the scratches on it? After all you don't buy a new car and say, oh well the doors have dings in them already. It'll happen anyway.
Hi Jill,
thanx much for the head's up. Shouldn't happen.
I'll forward to Charlynn. She can send you a clip.
