Stabbing.

She claims to have the habit of hitting the shift key, with her little finger on every new word. (and she can't break it) Since the moderators seem have no problem with her doing it, (I guess it breaks no rule) all I'd suggest is either putting her on ignore, or dealing with it. Many here have voiced their concerns over it and she's not going to stop, just because some find it distracting.

I was a middle school teacher for 12 years. Compared to some of the student handwriting I tried to read, BladeChick's posts don't bother me at all. I would rather read her odd typing style than the giantblockoftextwithnopunctuation manifestos that others have composed.

If she would just type her text in word 2010 (I know the program has it) and just highlight the text she wants to change to the first letter lowercase letter then hit the button at the top (in home) where it shows a little a then a big A like this "Aa" it will change her typing to look normal. Just a suggestion if she is listening (reading)

She just wants to be different...

You carry Pepperspary, a Kubaton, a pistol, and a knife on you at all times? Really?

Nope. It was more of an acedemic discussion.

I always have a work knife or two on me. Today I have a UKPK slipjoint in my pocket and a bark river essential in a belt sheath. I would say both are pretty much non SD knives but I live in maine and really really don't ever want to be in a knife fight. I have a CCW permit but at this time all my firearms are full sized so I kinda dont carry. There is a weird rule in maine where if you are going to the pistol range and dont have a CCW you have to display the firearms on the dashboard in plain view and it really scares the sheeple so got the CCW so that I can legally keep my pistols in my range bag on the way to the range.

I go out on weekends with a buddy of mine who all the pretty girls want to flirt with and he seems to get in fights with little dudes with pretty girl friends from time to time. Not anywhere near deadly force warranted stuff. I generally slip a can of OC in my jacket pocket when I headed out with my friend. Otherwise leave it at home. I enjoy being his wingman as I am single again and its great to head out with a friend that draws all the pretty girls to him like moths to a flame.

My key chain is a mini maglight AA which is a pretty good kubaton. Never used it other than to light up a dark area where I need to find something.

My belt has a big cowboy buckle on it. Belts are actually really good for SD. Never did that either but I do practice a bit from time to time.

I enjoy the subject of SD and how martial arts and the real world are different. But so far never been in a fight at all. I don't count sparring at the dojo as real. We wear pads and probably are develping lots of bad habits since we are not trying to hurt our partners.

Nope just a regular joe who I suppose has no business commenting as I have never been in an actual altercation. I guess it just amuses me to go thru some of the steps around being prepared.

I've tried to type "normally" and I do so on applications, formal emails, resumes, and such.
I really do need to change it but for some unknown reason, I always convert back to my "normal" way of typing.
But, I am seriously, FOR REAL, going to try to type regularly, as it's just something that needs to be done.
I think it will be much easier on myself as well as those others eyes lol.

This isn't so hard, so I'll try to continue with this.

Awesome! I knew you could do it. Thanks. :D

Wow, that's pretty good.

The fun thing about writing for me is to try and express my creative side
while still conforming to convention. It is much easier to judge writing if
you work at it from within a common frame of reference. Writing like this
will get people to think more about what you are saying,
and less about how your text appears.

Some good friends taught me some important
details about punctuation, etc., that I will always treasure.

They told me about a book titled "Elements of Style,"
that is supposedly very good for learning how to write;
I've been reading it.

Are you willing to bet your fingers on that? Anything mechanical can fail - you just can't possibly guarantee with 100% certainty that it won't.

Quoted for truth. My Zt0300 has never given me any worries though.

This is the first post of yours that I actually read.

Everything else you have ever posted, i stopped at the first sentence and immediately skipped to the next post. No way was i ever going to wade through your old typing style.

Now I, and others, will actually know what you have to say. Isn't that amazing?

I would trust my life to my ZT 0301.
I know if I was in a survival situation and needed it, that it would be there and it would work.
But, I would never abuse it, because then it may fail. Then, I'm screwed.

I bet knife maker Charlie Mike could hook you up with a fail-safe blade
