I’ve been wanting one of these 77s for a long while, and I couldn’t be more please which the one I got. :thumbsup:

I think it’s nearly as good as some of the Lloyd stag you have.

Thanks Alan. I know you are partial to the 92 pattern. You have a sweet one with a spear blade, if I recall correctly.

@Half/Stop That 73 lets me know that I like dark stag. And that is dark !

This knife is from my father's collection, he bought it in Italy in the mid-1980's, a Hubertus Waidmann’s Helfer, 4-3/8” blade/9” overall, drop forged 1.4109 stainless.

With the addition of the new Case, did some oiling. It was a rainy day.

My phone pictures don't do justice to these knives. Tha stag on the S&M mountain man is incredible.
