Stainless steel KMG, Build

I WANT one and I do not even make knives.
This thread is making me harder than a diamond in an ice storm

Well look what happens when your are waiting for carbide inserts for the edge scribes. I just cant stop my self. who brought this up I know some one said i should do this, i should find them and kick them in the ass. well now i have to do the rest of the grinder, i cant just leave the tracking and tension arm jeweled :D ;). you know it takes alot longer then you would think. I did not have a special turning brush so I'm using a grinding stone on a 1/4" shaft in the mill. the finish is deep and wont be getting scratched away any time soon :D

I think when ever i go to a show i should bring it with me and set it on the table. its going to look so nice when its done i will not beable to use it :grumpy:.

That thing is just getting crazy good looking! How will you be able to use it?

P.S. Have you shipped the L6 to me yet?

Thanks,

That looks really nice, JT.
I think that mild steel with a black powder coat would look pretty nice underneath that, too.

Normaly engine turning is done with a scotchbright pad on a arbor, yours looks great though.

Holy shitake! That thing is amazing. I'm sure glad I don't work on stainless steel knives. I could never afford the grinder. :D

I agree about the plywood base. At least find some old butcher block table top, or something, you can cut to fit. Or maybe some stainless diamond plate you could laminate over the plywood? Dude, you are a trip!!!

I wish I could get down to Provo once more before we move to Oregon to see your baby! Looks fantastic!
