starter 2.7

Can't wait to get my hands on one on the Monday sale. Didn't expect I would like this but lately I felt a burning love for small fixed blades.
 
Does the gso 2.7 with cpm20cv steel have a new or improved heat treatment than for example the old 20cv knives like the gso3.5?

The GSO-2.7, and all other new production CPM-20CV, is different than the older spec knives. Nothing too ground-breaking but the newer CPM-20CV seems to have some better edge holding. There is still some R&D going on with the CPM-20CV to see if it can be further improved. We will keep you all posted if/when anything big happens.

I got love for the 2.7 but people seem focused on complaining about the delivery times or business practices of S!K.

Bring on the 2.7!!

I can't wait for the 2.7 to come up for sale. It's going to be a madhouse though.
 
Only regret is not getting a 2.7 for my pre-order. Can't wait to get the chance to order one on the Monday sale.
 
I have a starter order from 4/1/15 that I am eagerly awaiting. At the time, I was so excited for the little knife that it was the only one I intended to preorder as I already had an old version 4.1. That changed...

I didn't get the 12, I feel like I should have but I never even use my 10 and I'm holding out for the 20. I think I'm going to get (3) 20's, so myself, my wife, and my daughter all have one. We can all grow old with our S!word's together that way.

But seriously, I kind of want a 12.
 
Ordered one in March 2015. Can't wait to see if it will eventually replace my 'used and abused' ESEE Izula II.

I seriously want to see your comparison on the 2.7 vs the Izula II. I don't have the Izula II, but will be putting my 2.7 up against the swamp warden.
