Starvin' for Serpentines and Dog Leg Dreamin'

One of my favorite builds with a serpentine frame, based on a vintage Remington pattern.

WOW!! That is a beautiful piece, what a work of art! Ken, I can only dream of reaching this level of mastery. I just love everything about this knife! Very well done!

I loved that one so much, I had one similar made :) Here it is with my other knife from Ken, a serpentine jack.

Some smaller Queen serpentine jacks and trappers

And some even smaller than those

The Kutmaster looks very nice Trand.:thumbup::thumbup:

I'm including this Schatt Keystone, sabre ground, I hope it counts but some confusion is setting in...:D:D Regards, Will

Dog leg dreaming....

Indeed. I'm not a fan of trappers (not a spey fan) but I really like the shape of the GEC 48 and the case slimline trapper. However, they are too big for me (UK legal issues). I love the proportions and the long clip blades, if only they were a little more wee. 3 1/2 closed would do it.

A few days ago I wrote the above. Note this bit in particular;

I received something from Texas in the post today which has changed my mind. More to follow when I am able to take pictures (the tail end of hurricane Bertha is raining on the western isles) :)

Thanks Will. I got it for so little on the auction site I sometimes feel like I stole it :o Here's another I picked up the same way, this time a Scrade Walden Half Whittler

Thanks Trand

Phil, you made me sit up in my chair a bit with that one. Very nice sir.

Looks great Phil, I didn't see that one or it'd be heading my way along with this guy. Edit: I think that's the first barehead #48 Jack I've seen too.

They recently came out with these in barehead as well.

Good looking spec run 48s up there. That's the way the jack 48s should've been made to start with IMO. (muskrat clip & pen blade)
