Starvin' for Serpentines and Dog Leg Dreamin'

They recently came out with these in barehead as well.

Yep, picked one up in Orange Delrin. I'm not really a hunter but figured if I ever needed it, I'd have it. I got it in the orange too thinking, out of the cover offerings for the #48 bird knives, it'll be the easiest to spot. But that Burn Orange Wave Jig bone does looks great though.

Elegance incarnate! Svelte grinds :D

Ken did a great job on this one :)

Interesting side note on the bird hook 48's - they all have the acorn shield regardless of blade steel. A first for the Great Eastern brand, which has always been 440C.

Just got this one in the mail! The burnt orange bone is just stunning!!

Nice shot of that improved trapper ( one of the best knives around in my opinion). Looks like you have a fantastic shop:D ...replete with the mysterious Dr. Frankenstein bag:eek::eek:

Evan and Eric very nice knives. The improved trapper is no doubt one of the best GEC models.
Primble, another treasure. WOW

Mike

Thank you very much, Gevonovich. I may have trouble getting to sleep tonight

I apologize for going off-topic here, but I just have to ask: Primble, what is that knife above the slip?? I'm thunderstruck!! Where can I see more of that one??

If I may help GT

Thank you GT - that is my old John Primble Belknap Harness Jack with very pretty bone handles. I see Gevo headed you in the right direction. ;):D

Time to revive this interesting thread. Not a Jack but a Serp Whittler with tapered backsprings rather than the split/spacer ones.
