Same here. I can’t believe Buck made so little of the brass/coco/420’sYeah..That be nice. The only brass one I have is that Ironwood 35th BCCI anniversary one.
I'm a big 117 fan, but a regular black phenolic handle ??.......a big Pass for me.I love the idea of this I just wish it was anything other than that phenolic handle...![]()
Definitely a sweet knifeBCCI currently has re-released their 35th anniversary 117/ironwood/brass/420HC, discounted to $175.00.
You aren't wrong, in my opinion. I have a few pieces but not really a fan. Would rather have buffalo horn, stag, or even dyed bone.Nothing to do with stealth run 12 but I’m not really a fan of the Shockwood either, please don’t shoot me.
I hear you. My son is visiting for a month and he likes to go to restaurants. So I need the cash. Unfortunately, the December BOTMs are usually good ones.Well, I ended up getting one.I knew I would regret it if I passed on this. I went ahead and also grabbed a 117 Brahma sheath (MOLLE compatible). Normally I would have jumped on this knife, but was trying to be rein in my spending due to Christmas. Hopefully, the December BOTM will be a pass for me.
Next thing we know, they are going to find excess peanut butter and chocolate. It does seem and odd choice ... Almost like a Build Out "Hey we got some spare Magacut 117 blades and we got too many 102 handles. Let's use 'em up and call it a Stealth Run!!!!"

Well, twist my arm, why don’t you! You had me at Ironwood and brass. Of course, you know that as soon as I buy it, the 2025 BCCI knife will hit. LOL!BCCI currently has re-released their 35th anniversary 117/ironwood/brass/420HC, discounted to $175.00.
Ditto!I was thinking about getting one of the Stealth Run #12s and then I saw this and made a different choice on where to spend $175
