Steer Clear of Brous blades you will get skinned

Poor form by the OP. Just joined and first post......hmmm. Looks like someone else for the ignore list.

I doubt he cares about proper form ... he's just trying to spread bad press.

it will be posted on every knife forum, gun forum, the NRA members section, and all of the LE websites that I am able to become a member of.

Ill go out on a limb here and side with the op, although not on his tone or tactics. If I were in the exact same spot I would have ordered the next two and included a friendly comment politely asking for a price adjustment for the one purchased less than 24 hours prior. I doubt Jason is making 0$ on the sale or else whats the point of even wasting your time? It would be cheaper to hand them out on the street or at an outdoors store somewhere for good publicity. Definitely the childish threats and overall rude, pushy, and menacing emails are shameful and as said, bad form.

Can't really fault Brous Blades here. The Silent Soldiers are great knives BTW, I have two. You are missing out OP :D

Man. Your kind of a Douche :thumbdn:

I like this sentence that he wrote here. (Since the knife was already shipped you will need to return it unused for a full refund. Any further orders from you will be declined. Happy Holidays!) :D

Maybes its time for you to grow up dont you think?.

Op, I think you've got some issues to deal with. Sounds like you got a helluva deal, but now want to throw a tantrum because he's now offering a better deal. For someone who evidently has 2 grown children I would expect a bit more maturity and perspective.

I move that the mods delete this thread so as not to spread the OP's unfounded bad press for Brous Blades.

The messages state that they are confidential, and posting them publicly seems like a bad idea.

I also really and truly believe that one of the biggest problems today is that too many people feel entitled. I don't see how anyone is entitled to money back on a purchase if the terms of the sale were not violated. I'll admit that the website should state if returns are not accepted on sale items, but the original post reads as though the seller is accepting the return and is issuing a full refund.

I just visited Brous Blades Website for the first time.
A couple knives caught my eye, nice design.

Let's hope the OP doesn't get himself on the wrong end of a lawsuit. Maybe that is what is needed to teach a bit of common sense for some people.

Kind of? Pfft!

I agree that he should have given the discount. But in no way was he obligated to give the discount, and one should not be sore because no discount was given

He was already given a discount, yet it wasn't good enough. Made a big stink over $23 and change. Please...

I'd like to give a big thanks to the OP for that fine
example of how not to act. OP, now that everyone knows
what a spoiled brat with no respect for his fellow man,
and worth no respect himself, acts like, you can grow up.

You made a deal. Live with it.
There is NO REASON why he should give you a refund.
I do believe you've presented us all with plenty of
reason to refuse to do business with you though.

I really hope all is well for Jason. I don't know the guy,
but any sympathy I could have in this situation, is
for him.

The OP is the one at fault here.

The price he has them on sale for 30% off doesn't give him much profit for future knives. Making it 50% off doesn't five him any profit. It's not his fault you bought the knives for 30 off

He gets plenty of profit at 50% off, he doesn't make them one at a time, they are production knives.

Any bets to whether or not he gets past one post or even comes back at all...

Heck, he pretty much admitted it was just a driveby in the post. I hope he realizes that if he spent the time it took to hunt down a bunch of forums, sign up and post that rant working he might well have made more than $23. And it would have been time better spent.

I have bought several knives from Jason over the years and found him to be a very stand up guy.
I too made a purchase from him a couple days ago at 30% off. When I received the notice of the 50% sale I jumped in to buy again at the great price. I am pleased with the 30% savings, and the ones at 50% are awesome! In a similar fashion I ordered some discounted boots from a well known supplier during their 11% sale a couple days ago. Within hours the discount went up to 15%. You make your decisions when to buy and can't look back if the price drops later. I really like many of his designs and these sales are a great way to get them.
