Glad you liked the cartoon Steve. Thought I'd inject a bit of humor into the thread as some comic relief. Seemed like "tensions were running high";)

But I must stop here and refrain from injecting anymore of my un-substantiated 2nd-hand anecdotal evidence offerings, least I again be accused of "dog-piling on without a license" and relegated to the status of "member of the the peanut gallery", or is that more appropriately a "Gold Member of the peanut gallery". Wow, and to think, I even bought a ticket to this game! I can't wait for the 7th inning stretch!:D

I have but one more comment to all ye who visit here:

:D LOL...Hey Frank....Thanks for the much needed levity. This Peanut Gallery Member just watched a Hellraiser flick last night on TV.

Peanut gallery. That's hilarious. And to think of all the time I put into this place offering information to others in the Emerson forum, and Strider forum when it was here, and in other BFC forums also, just trying to help out those who were in the process of learning. I was not directly involved in anthing THEY were doing. Was I a member of the PN Gallery back then? I even ordered from you a few knives, and a sheath which to this day have not rcv'd. So now I'm merely a member of peanut gallery. Thanks bunches pal.

BTW Spark....I love your statement: Les, I'm providing a venue for these people to air their problems out. Without me, they wouldn't even have that. Which were you referring to; A venue, or problems?

If you are jumping in to smack down on someone about a deal you had nothing to do with, then yes, you are most certainly a member of the peanut gallery. This forum isn't here for everyone and their brother to lend their opinion's on a deal and to start a dog pile. It's hear for the aggrieved (or happy) parties to air out their problems.

There's a difference between chatting up knives in a forum, and slamming someone's suppossed behavior, justified or not. If you can't see that, then you should do some introspection and get away from the playground pack mentality.

Problems aired here & praise garnered can make or break people's reputations. If it's done unfairly then you can quite literally take the food out of someone's mouth. How would you feel if someone took away your next paycheck because a bunch of people thought it'd be fun to pile on your reputation?

I'm not saying that people who do wrong deserve to get off scot free. But if you have no place or experience in a deal between two parties, you shouldn't put your two cents in unless they are asked for.

But Spark, this has nothing to do "fun".

And those who lost $$$$ to Steve, that's not perhaps taking food from their mouth's also?

EDITED - Nevermind

So, Al, I guess you are just doing this out of a perceived need then, since you obviously have nothing to do either way with any of these matters? If it's not "fun" for you, why are you in the dog pile?

I got my knives. 888 got theirs. Corkum's working on other people's orders. Past that, your two cents aren't needed, are they?

Spark, you are absolutely amazing.

I might add that, it's takes a much better person than you to put me down.

BTW - Caught your post prior to your edit.

Guess what, Al? I don't care about putting you down. Your own actions speak a lot more about you than I ever could. So I guess you are proving me right afterall.

Spark,

Or should we call you "Mr Tangent". No one has said a word about your running of the actual site. You are correct, I could not run the technical aspects of this site as well as you do.

Just as there is no way you could become my equal in the custom knife business.

Spark you were in a position to help three members of your forum. You chose not to do it. That is your perogative.

As for me helping members, once again (as is usually the case when it comes to me) you have poor intel.

I have had numerous members of your forum contact me off line and ask for adivce and help concerning custom knives. Without exception, I have helped these people.

Those who can, do, Les. You can't, but you talk a good game, don't you?

You have no clue what I've talked to Steve about, yet you presume to lecture me on what I should be doing. Maybe I've already talked to him in detail about this? Maybe I haven't. Neither Phil nor Steve have contacted me for any assistance, yet you think I should get involved on my own. Where do I draw the line, Les? Heck, you aren't happy with the results this thread have already garnered - the original complainant got their knives.

Furthermore, for someone who is so admirable in volunteering my time, you don't seem to be eager to use your own in resolving this for them. Or is my crystal ball just as wrong as your obviously is?

Please don't give me your song and dance about how you graciously help BFC members in custom knives though, because we both know better - you are just looking to make a few sales. That's your job as a purveyor, right? I'm not going to begrudge you your business, but don't act like you are a saint when you are just doing your job.

In short Les, put up or shut up. BTW, I have no desire to be your equal, Les. I don't like lowering myself to your level.

Good idea. Thank you for interjecting a cool head.

In other news, since 888 got their knives, I'm locking this thread.

I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT THOSE WHO HAVE A BEEF WITH CORKUM, ARE MISSING KNIVES, OR ARE OWED MONEY START THEIR OWN THREADS ON THIS SUBJECT. You will have a greater chance of being taken care of, and will let others know about the situation
