  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

if you goto the main forum list for Becker (or anything really, like, yer own ;>) you'll note those yellow bars, and it says "sticky" in there... i like to think it's because the mods pee'd on them to get them to stick :D

That's right amigo, when they're happy they gain faster and taste better. Easier to cut with a low quality knife as well... we do everything we can so folks can enjoy their "meat experience" more, and that starts with a positive, nurturing, and understanding relationship with our critters. Then we kill em. ;)

I imagine you're gonna fit in pretty good around here! Friendly ribbing is encouraged by most (I think), and that one was pretty snappy! :D

ETA- this was my 888th post. Cool.

I like the potbelly sheath better than the nylon sheath my BK2 came with. Of course the tweener sheaths look sweet.

With both brands under KA-BAR, it wouldn't be that big a deal to make a hybrid knife like they did with the BK14. Potbelly Blade, Becker handle. Drooool......

I have heard it on more than one occasion, that Kabar likes to keep it designers seperate. Let JAB do their knives, let Becker do their knives, Dozier, Benner, etc. No cross designs within the KBD team.

It makes sense, keeps them from becoming one big blob of knives. :D

Then we need to find a skilled welder, a Potbelly, and a BK2.

And a heat treater :).

In other news, I'm glad to hear more news about the JAB blades, and I really would like to see more of them.

I hope this doesn't mean they're thinking of ending the JAB lineup :(.
