Where to begin?! What a marvelous, well-thought collection, so beautifully presented. Wow.

Of all the knives you've shown us, the pictures of which I've only just begun to take in, two knives stood out to me along the way (simply as a matter of personal taste-- there is so much to see, and consider, in each of these knives and your photographs, and now seeing the picture of all of them together makes me look and re-decide, all over again).

Interestingly, the two knives appear together in your last picture, second row up from the bottom in each column-- the John Lloyd and the wooden-handled knife with the "constellation" of inset metalwork and corkscrew:

As in, I was ready to look through all your pictures to find them again, and there they are right next to each other in your array! :)

I did then go find them again, for clarity (though the scrolling to find them made me kinda seasick...).

Then, there's this:

Oh, dear. I do hope Tintin's okay?! Snowy looks like he may still be in danger.

;)

Thanks again for the visual feast, and your helpful information regarding the different knives in question.

As soon as I have more time I say it to you more on both knives which please you!

Here is some photos (saddened for the quality but I have only my iPhone) of my new knife. He has just arrived at the moment.
He is really magnificent and the finishes are incredible!!
A big bravo to mister Jared Oeser for his talent!

A formidable collection for such a young-man! I particularly admire this Shadow pattern, French cutlers are often able to capture that elusive balance between simplicity & complexity. This is reflected in the aesthetics and craftsmanship of many of their knives, an impressive feat. A lot of very well-done Damascus on show here too, that can be tricky subject. Some very amusing and effective backdrops/montage to many of your knives, I look forward to your future contributions.

There are a lot of very interesting knives and patterns. I enjoy the illustrations you showed too. Welcome to the forum!

It please me that you appreciate my assemblies photos! I was afraid that it does not disturb more than other thing. Not being very talented for the photo I try to make my images interesting differently while respecting the subject which is the knife.

Will, you are perfectly right.
This is why I like the French knives. Because they are sober and pure lines. What I find in American slipjoint.

Juste some fixed blades

Those two stag handled fixed blades are beautiful! I love that they have this rustic/unfinished quality to them! That sling shot looks pretty neat too.
