Elliott only has one SW ? Just kidding. That one has aged well...
This one has spent very little time out of pocket since I received it

Here's one I received yesterday -- Schrade 80T Old Timer. It belonged to an old friend who passed away last year.

Nice Andy. Please do a review when you get it. I love Mooremakers.
Still carrying my little buddy...

I will definitely post a review once I get that baby in an use it for a spell. It will be my first Moore Maker, I've been wanting one for a couple years. I've been wanting a 3 7/8" stockman with smooth yellow bone for a while, but haven't been able to find one, except directly from Moore Maker. The one I have on order is 4 3/8", which is a bit bigger than I usually like- it looks to be about the same size as a Case large stockman. The MM's bolsters are rounded, so it might be a bit more pocket-friendly. And there are acres of that smooth bone that I like so much.

Chuck, you did a hell of a nice job with those scales. Congrats!
(That green/yellow reminds me of some of the Remington offerings from a few years back.)

Thanks Cal and Elliott! It was a lot of fun and I actually have a recent production Remington of my brother-in-laws that is a WIP at the moment. I'll be posting pics when it is finished of course, but that will be a while. I'm pretty slow.

Chuck

Got it! Hubba hubba, what a knife. The scans do not do it justice.

This is a real man's knife, nothing small or wimpy about it. Quality stuff, all 'round. Nice pattern! It is 1/8" bigger than Case's large stockman, but it looks and feels smaller . I believe this is due to the slim frame and rounded bolsters. I like how the pull for the sheepfoot blade is on the mark side, and the joints are semi-sunk, so there is nothing to catch up in the pocket. Smooth! I finally managed to track down one of the 3 7/8" versions this morning, so I will have one of those in my clutches shortly.

Congrats, Andy. I think you're gonna enjoy both your new stock knives quite a bit.
