An unusual one - a Canadian Premier brand stockman, with a Canadian Patented punch, made in Germany.

Here are three Shapleigh Diamond-Edge brand stockmen, all sub-contract knives. Hard to capture the waterfall handles, and also the translucence of the bright yellow ones. Beautiful, but scary, given Celluloid's history.
They all bear the genetics of Imperial Schrade Inc. I think.

Case stag stockmen; top to bottom, a 90s Red Stag Damascus, a 1970 10dot, and a late 1960s U.S.A.
Some say the U.S.A. period produced some of Case's best stag handles.
The Damascus looks better in hand. These are 3 7/8", and the pattern numbers are: R5347D, 5347HP and 53047 respectively.

Nice red bone Rob. Charlie that Canadian stockman is quite a rare one. I like how the spey blade has an upsweep like a scimitar. and the awl, well...:thumbup:
 
I've been wanting to pick up a Schrade so I bid on/won a 340T the other day for literally pocket change. It arrived yesterday and looked a little rough due to gunk and light surface rust. Oiled her up and cleaned her with a toothbrush and soft version of a scotchbrite pad. Now she looks a whole lot better and is gently nestled in the watch pocket of my jeans.

Thanks Charlie. He smoked a pipe and he used it for general pipe maintainence and everything in between.

We have several types of scotchbrite pads at work. I use the least aggressive (abrasive) version for cleaning because it removes surface rust and leaves the majority of the patina. You can't see it in the picture, but the original factory grind lines are still visible on all three blades. It also looks like they have never been sharped either, very happy with this one.

Charlie - I like that Premier. How many different spiral punches are there? I'm only familiar with what Camillus had.
