Stockman Sunday picture show

It's a hard question to answer, everyone has different views on the subject. I kind of draw a dividing line, pre-internet and Internet eras. This one is pre-internet.

They are solid knives that feel good. Scales, bolsters and shields fit as they should. They don't snap like a bear trap, blade centering (always a factor when it comes to a Stockman) is generally good, you may see the occasional rub on a blade or liner. If you look at them as a solid, working knife with some nice touches here and there they are really very nice. Real jigged bone, and this series of knives could be had in either stainless or carbon steel blades. That particular knife is stainless.

The round shield Henckels knives were contract made by Boker roughly 1991 through 2007. I'm particularly fond of them, I own about a bazillion of them.
Thank you for the information. I missed out on a yellow version like yours a while back and will most likely wait til another comes available before buying. Sounds like a worthwhile addition to my collection eventually.

A no nonsense stockman, joined by a first series (screw cap) mid/late 1970's - early 1980's Sheaffer No Nonsense™ fountain pen with an aftermarket "Utra Flex" (it don't flex 🙄) Extra Fine nib. 😁👍
(The original stub nibs are not what I need anymore.)
Hope everyone has a great week, with fantastic weather and no health or vehicle problems. 👍
