Unless you have steel fingernails... Its not going to get much use. Almost need a sling to carry it.
Whoa! That's a big one alrightIt's 4 7/8" closed. It is a bit comically oversized for a stockman, in my opinion anyways!
Regular 3 7/8" Camillus, Case 4 1/4 large stockman, 4 7/8 IXL Schrade and an old really abused Buck 110

Thanks!Nifty! Just a little larger than the Schrade Old Timer 858OT Lunberjack Stockman.(4 5/8 inch closed.) A real beauty you have there.
I wonder if all of the IXL's require a steel fingernail or other tool to open it.
Makes me cautions to seek one out. I have never seen any sense in fighting my knife to open it, or to carry a tool to get it open.
Love that Buffalo horn.
Thanks my FriendLove that Buffalo horn.![]()
Beautiful example, I'm glad it's free from its box but my Envyometer is off the scaleI have been enjoying carrying this Case/Bose from 2015 since Thursday. I think this knife was happy to get out of the box finally. Happy Sunday to you.
