Stockman Sunday picture show

Âchillepattada Âchillepattada Thanks very much for taking the effort to illustrate this Jean-Marc. The older 32 pattern certainly does have a larger and different Clip master, this actually surprises me but I don't have any vintage CASE Stockman. Wonder if cogniscati can inform us when the smaller blades started? Same blade as a Texas Small Jack I suppose. Bolsters on the Amber Bone 32 look different too, bit bigger even?

I fully understand your problem about buying online- I have the same difficulty only our 'efficient' Euro regime intercepts all packets to charge 25% tax on -unless you have a friendly gifter ;) not always feasible. Returns are a nightmare, but my luck with CASE has held, getting vintage ones means the inflated Bay and associated risks, but I think we can all concur that CASE knives of the 60s and before were generally very high calibre. That big mass market for Traditionals has shrunk and so I suppose CASE has to apply time saving or cost cutting strategy on Traditionals since they are a large company not a niche sell out before release maker like GEC. GEC still need to make a convincing small and medium Stockman though:)

Thanks, Will

Thanks John (mh33), it's such a well made knife with a strong snap. I have complete confidence in that knife. It's a what looks like new, 8 dot with beautiful chestnut bone. It's always in my pocket slip.
