USA made Marbles jumbo stockman with Italian jigged bone (and a pretty rad swedge!)

Here is another knife that was sent to me by my mother this week. It is an Uncle Henry 897 from the late 70's. I can remember my maternal grandfather carrying this one, he had a routine of putting it back in the box on his dresser each evening.

I wiped it down, oiled the joints, and honed the edge. Now it's just like it was the last day it was carried in 1985. This knife might be why I follow this thread and have a soft spot for stockmen.

Couple step brothers today. An 881 and a Schrade made Parker Frost. Both as well built as any current production slip joint. The Parker has endured a bit of abuse and long days in a sweaty pocket this summer. Aside from the shield being lost out in the woods somewhere, it has held up nicely.
