Stoned Ivory

Good photos, Rob! Paul nailed it!

Very Glad this piece found such a great home. I know it will be well cared for.
And please be careful around that edge :)

Thanks, Man!!!

Those pics really show off the piece well Rob - congrats on a stunner!

Roger

That is really exceptional, knife and sheath. Congratulations on a winner!

Damn man. That is beautiful. I like the greenish colors on the butt. Love the curved guard. LOVE THE HEDGEHOG TOO!

After I talked to you on the phone tonight I had to go back and check out this piece. After seeing it in hand I have to say what an ugly knife this is and the sheath is poorly done to boot . I will be a bud and buy this mess off you so don't worry:D

Truly my favorite Hanson and the sheath is perfect. As classy as this knife is it has a raw element that screams warrior blade if ya know what I mean. Your a lucky Guy

I hadn't seen Rob's photos. VERY clear and compelling!

Show us the little balls again. PLEASE??!

Paul's work elevates any piece. So wonderfully tasteful.

Thanks for the compliment Coop. Coming from you it's especially cool! Believe it or not they were taken with a Kodak Easyshare Z980 point & shoot. I usually take pics without flash at dusk.

The little balls huh? Okay, here they are. And I wanted to add pics with the copper spacers showing. They really look great on this knife. Huge thanks again to Don, Paul and Coop!!!

Great piece, Don
Congrats to the custodian of this works of art :)
I always reserve a thin slice of hope in my wish to own a piece of Don's work :D

Mohd.

Rob, this might be sort of tough, but if you can figure out a way to hold the knife up and take a pic, i'd love to see the mosaic steel on the gaurd from the top.

Thank you Rob! This thread has had impressive staying power.

Rob, by the way... I have ONE word for you: CLACK!!

You know what I am talking about. ;) (NEXT thread for Rob.)

CLACK! I'm psyched!!! :D Coop, you are a tease.

Here is my latest point & shoot effort based on Jon's request to see the guard. These were a bear due to reflections and trying to get close to capture the detail. Coop, you have all my respect, don't know how you do it. I also snapped another "little balls" for ya Coop.

Stunning, Don, as always. The handle choice is striking. Looks elegant as well as comfortable. One day I will own something you've made

Thanks for sharing

Thanks Rob. I believe thats the same steel as on my Blue MS folders bolster too. Am I right Don?

Jon, some of the same elements but maybe not the same billet. Very simlilar though. It is from the same billet that Kevin's dagger is from.

(NEXT thread for Rob.)
Coop, you'll have a new thread too. Clack, Clack ;) :D

Thanks again, folks!!!
