Street Price of the Para 2 cst-20cp

They are in stock some places also. I guess they are still being shipped out from Spyderco.

This one won't be coming apart. The pivot was absolutely perfect out the box.

Just because they are still accepting pre-orders doesn't mean your order will get filled. They are currently filling orders of people who placed their orders several months ago. It is highly unlikely that they will receive sufficient stock to be able to fill orders placed from this point on. In fact, I don't expect them to ever fill the order I placed about 6 weeks ago, but I got some from another source (who is now out of stock) so I'm not worried about whether my KC order ever comes through, although it would be great if it did.
 
There are some in stock still where I bought mine. Kinda surprising actually.

I love this steel. It wasn't a perfect specimen out the box but about a bit on the strop its amazing. I can shave my face with it.
 
After calling to confirm the order, I'm wondering if he thought he was talking to a hysterical woman the entirety of the conversation.

Out of curiosity, how much earlier in the day did you get the e-mail? I got mine smack dab at 4:00pm CST.
 
Yet another vendor who must not be named just got 20 Carpenter Para-Military2s in. I put in an order, but I don't know if I got into the first 20 as it got announced earlier tonight over at the spyderco forum. Only one per customer. Total to my door was a little less than $150.

edit: Scored. Got an email that it shipped today.
