Strider Knives

All normal people are under time constraints. If the OP had done a simple search he would have found multiple threads on this topic which has been covered exhaustively over the years. It just goes round and round, like a dog chasing its tail, there is no correct answer.

I understand that but most things that are asked here "could" be found with the use of the search function yet why not share a few thoughts with others that have a same a passion that we do about knives? Sometimes spending a few minutes here and there on forums like this is a welcome break from an otherwise stressful day. Obviously we're only sharing opinions, I may love a knife that you hate but I'd be willing to bet that if we looked over all the knives that each other owned we'd find several that we both agreed 100% on.
Take care.

I have to say, when i first got into 400$+ knives i had a choice between a CRK Seb and a Strider. I listened to the man at the store talk about the 2, and picked the CRK because i thought it was absolutely beautiful. Later, when i got my strider SnG i found it had the best warranty of just about any other knife. if your looking for a hard use for 400-500$ you cant beat it.

I'd just say spend the extra for CC or DGG.
The CC and DGG has far better ergonomics...unless you like wearing gloves with your knife.

to JSRICE:

IIRC, there were some "allegations" that someone alluded to being in combative Special Forces when he wasn't really there. The judgments on that are up to the individual.

I have the sng cc tanto...I honestly think this is the perfect knife for me!! I abuse the hell out of it! It fits like a glove in my hand. Yea the hinderer xm's ate aesthetically more appealing, but double the money. I can justify paying $400 dollars for a high quality knife when I'm going to abuse and you know it will last. Why buy a pretty knife of your just going to let it ride in your pocket for style and conversation piece. I don't get those people. Anyway, strider and Emerson makes the best knife for my money hands down.

However, I really love the burch chubby!! Lol! Not sure I'd use that pretty knife!!!
