Great news everyone! After 2 months of not updating, Survive has decided to really step up production on their 2015, 2017 and 2018 knife orders! 😬

2015: 0.0% in 2 months
2016: 2.2% in 2 months
2017: 0.0% in 2 months
2018: 0.0% in 2 months
2019: 4.1% in 2 months
2020: 1.3% in 2 months
2021: 3.7% in 2 months
2022: New!!!

This table shows the percentage of orders that have been fulfilled from each year. The last open orders from 2015-2019 are for the large blades or GSO-5.1s. All of those models are at finishing now so those years will all be to 100% within the next few months.

This text never changes and they never define what date "the next few months" refers to. So I guess it's not a lie?

It's very thorough of them to put charts like this on there website. It must take lots of time to figure it all out, so delays are understandable.

How many other knife companies provide this much detail on information you don't normally need to know.

Only Survive does this as far as I know.

They are the best....Freakin Twats

Whatever happened to that group buy you were going to do... not enough willing to donate money after you couldn't give a delivery date?

But seriously, you got your knives, so why do you care, right?

This thread stopped me from ever buying a S!K product, so it has value. The fact that the saga continues isn’t our fault, but the fault of Survive! Knives.

Come back and whine about our bullying when they’ve finished their multi year back log. (Which might be a way to say, “don’t come back”)

I searched this thread and I'm not seeing what you claim... perhaps I've overlooked something.

Your first post in this thread was Aug. 14th 2021, your last post until yesterday was Sept.7th 2021, you had a total of 19 posts in that time frame and no where that I'm seeing does any member directly accuse you of being a shill and enabling SK! to rob people... again, perhaps I've overlooked something.

Believe I already posted why. I choose not to go ahead with the order because I wasn't confident Survive could produce the knives in a timely manner. I wasn't coy about that in the least.

Nice catch, some egg on my face there. Very hypocritical of me and I'm genuinely embarrassed about my comment.

And yes there are still a few knives on the exchange. Assuming it's because people read this thread in all it's glory is quite the leap.
 
1) It's the pattern of their business dealings that's the concern. Delivering just enough knives to continue taking orders.
2) If they sold more knives they'd be further behind.
3) The only reason they're shipping back orders is the visibility we raise of their questionable business dealings.
4) Never owning up to their failings and blaming everyone else for their malfeasance.
5) Taking the time to design new knives and making videos about how good they'e doing when they should be making the knives that are paid for.

I never assumed anything... you said it was kind of ironic considering how popular Survive! knives seem to be on the knife exchange here, I was merely pointing out that several were still available.

This thread, specifically a poster here, helped me decide to try out a GSO 5.1. I liked it so much I ordered a 2nd one. Thankful for that.

It's also been a humbling experience in the need to post better (and not take a when in Rome approach).

People generally don’t sell knives they really want to keep.

Also, I hope folks all over the exchange keep passing those damn things around. No new S!K sales fits my needs just fine.
