Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

I’m worried that we’re not really reflecting enough on the severity of this debacle.

I wonder how many times in the history of knifedom that a company has closed owing 1 million dollars in preorders to customers.

My guess is never.

"Don't lick that frozen pole!"

"Don't touch the hot burner!"

"Don't stick your dick in crazy!"

Sometimes when people do things, even after being warned (and warned and warned), it's their own damn fault

As a life lesson goes, not too expensive really

Can't agree on #3...though I get your gist.

Don't forget all the money he owes to his various service and materials providers, landlords, lenders, etc. And also that he tried to topple one of the biggest steel makers, heat treating companies, and industry expert scientists (as well as the product he developed) in the pursuit of continuing his scam.

The scale and damage is quite large.

Yeah, I don’t bother with most of that because I imagine some of that goes with the “I’ve run my business into the ground” territory, but it’s certainly true. The sheer amount they owe customers is the part I find truly astonishing.

I sincerely hope law makers take a closer look at the practice of preordering. Done responsibility, it works, but knuckleheads like Guy use it to fund their enterprise and get caught with their pants down when it’s refund time.
