Thanks for checking in Shadetree. A friend of mine here on BF (Brian Evans - Evans Knife and Tool - EKT) has a custom of mine almost ready for scales. It's getting the red fire hose micarta from Shadetree. If you guys have never checked them out, it's worth it. To coin a phrase, "they have some badass stuff".

I need to order a set myself for another knife that needs a pimpin'.

I left the scales flat for two reasons. I have big hands and it makes the 3.5 fit me better but I really like that pattern in the burlap and wanted the flat sides to give it the look it has now.

I'm working on adding a small flip top vertical altoids tin to the front. IF it fits (may be too wide), I'll mount it in a custom kydex front pouch on the sheath in the pics.

You guys have gotten me inspired! Looking forward to making some custom add ons for the S!K knives.
 
That color is really vibrant. I wouldn't have thought you could get a color like that in burlap. Impressive. Nice liners too. They really make it pop.

Okay, I checked the clearance and man o' man my brain hurts from thinking about it. I've got some crazy sh*t planned. :D
Worked late today. A little work in the morning and then head to the deer lease to do a little work up there tomorrow. Saturday night and Sunday morning I'm workin' on it. If it works, I'll post up pics.
 
Haha that's right! Every time I see a plum color I always think of the Mopar paint color.
I just started following Fiddleback's page on here and I think I'll have to check out one of their smaller 4 finger knives.
 
I had a strong infatuation with the bushfinger, but I think I'm over it. Now the production camp knife on the other hand............... :)

Yeah I'm with you on that one! It looks like one hell of a knife! Now I wish I had the coin to be able to have them all.
