Even if someone wants to break even on those most expensive ones ($455 being the topline price, $350 just the blade with micarta and no sheath being the least) with the PP fees plus almost $15 in Priority Mail shipping, we are talking almost $490.00. That is not a knife to buy to speculate and flip to make a few $$. The reason being that NTM makes those in collaboration with others plus in much more limited quantities than Guy does with his product line. All those factor in the higher prices. Those who wish to flip blades, will probably do better with Survive and NTM's Field Knives!

That sounds more like it. at 115 I was about to slap myself for not ordering one. Ive watched some vids on that knife. Its definitely a sick knife.
 
Speaking of other knives, I am wondering how many knives you guys have on order at any given time. Right now I am waiting on 3 -

1. Daniel Fairly Knives friction folder, all titanium / carbide edge
2. Hall Handmade wharncliff-edged kiridashi with Koa handles
3. GSO 4.7 3V factory second

Also, I'm talking to another guy about doing a set of handles in trade for a knife with his handles. That counts.
And on another forum is Molokai Knives in Croatia. All 1-off custom knives. He will be next on my list, maybe this fall.

So that is 5. And I only got into knives this year. :eek:

I figure that should tide me over for awhile, until some of the smaller S!K blades hit the Monday Sales/Factory Seconds/secondary market...
 
A rmd and gso 6 for me.

Waiting for the 4.1 to become available again also so that i can get one of those too.

S/K! are the only non mass produced knives I have ever put my money up front for.
Once those are built, there will be 15 and who knows maybe another 1-2 before they are done.
You should see my kids eye those knives up- nobody ever heard of S/K! around my hunting/fishing buds, but they all know now! One of them even did his 1st pre-order a week ago, and you should hear him go on and on about his 4.5BC.

Nice!

I'm down to two on order, gso 4.7 and gso 2.7. I get really nervous when I don't have something on order somewhere, and find it helps prevent compulsive buys by having something ordered that I'm looking forward to.

Avoiding impulse buys... I'm going to use that with the budget committee!
 
Got 2 GSO-6 on order and a GSO-10. Thought about ordering a second GSO-10 but the wait could be years. So instead I bought a couple Busse battle saws which should arrive late next week or the week after.

Forgot got my TGM came yesterday and waiting for my 4.7 Monday sales 2nd to come as well.

Man that stripped battle saw with the patriot leather on the EX has cried out to me so many times.

HK repeats to self "Don't panic, you have two GSOs on order....."

It works great for people who have strong will and discipline in their spending. (Un)fortunately I have neither of those......production Duke on the way.

Definitely going to strip one of my battle saws, got a kydex sheath ordered from Azwelke already too, waiting on it.

And i completely agree
Except in this case i am anxious because the 6 is so far away from being made/sent to me. So i ordered the rmd to calm my eargerness haha

I'll try to do some comparisons in the woods with it and some others, and post up later on when I can get some use on it. I'd like to get it out with at least the 4.7, and hopefully some others. I don't have any mid-size GSOs at the moment so it might be a bit, but I do hope to get that done.
