Svord Peasant MINI

Got my Mini blades and pimped a few. They feel much better in the pocket.

I got my first svord about 2 weels ago and it has become one of my favorite knives.It was sharp out of the package but with a little stropping it is scalpel sharp.I made some G10 handles for it and it fits in the pocket perfect.For 12 bucks you can't go wrong.

It's wenge wood, but not the same wood that comes with the wooden version, this was a synthetic one and the Wenge came from a different source.
 
It's no longer a peasant.
Took a little ME time away from orders and made a new handle for the mini Svord folder.
York gum burl, brass spacers pins and shim washers.
This is going to be my new EDC.

Holy crap thats impressive.

Im from NZ, so i see a fair amount of svords, my only complaint is that they cost more here than in America :/
 
I would always be concerned that this design is an accident waiting to happen...if carried in your pants pocket. It just seems that no matter how you carry it, it will open up on you. I just can't see devoting a leather pocket slip to carry this knife safely.

Been carrying one for quite a while now, only time it did open in my pocket was when the pivot was too loose.
A thin leather pocket sheath would be ideal.

Any assisted opening knife makes me nervous for pocket carry , but my Peasants are good to go. It's all in how the handle screws are adjusted.
