Could not wait any longer... so I took matters into my own hands...


1084, freehand ground (my first ever attempt at grinding), convex and bathed in ferric chloride. Will try to make 'micarta' this weekend...

Still not sure if I will sand it down to have smoother blade and then etch again before stonewashing...
