I had a hugely pleasant surprise yesterday when I received T.A.Davison #1204 from my friend 'Old & In The Way'. Stephen had told Todd of my love of the old Sheffield Lambsfoot pattern, and of ebony covers, and this was the result. I am absolutely stunned by how beautiful the knife is, and by Stephen's generosity of course. Absolutely fantastic work Todd

I'll try to get better photos soon :o

The folks on this forum ROCK!

I usually do not post much on Todd's knives, but I have been very fortunate to handle almost every slip joint he has made.
Even the knife above before it crossed the big pond, what a beauty it is Jack. Enjoy!!

Thank you Tim :) I'll be wearing the belt buckle I won in your generous giveaway with added pride :)

Well I said I'd eventually own another Davison and I got my chance last week. Found this on the exchange and, already owning a barlow from Todd, I couldn't pass on it.

After a few email exchanges with the seller and sending funds, I realized that I didn't even ask what number it was. It's the same as the #1211 posted a couple pages back so that's what I thought it was.

Turns out it's #1182. I was born in November of 1982!! Happy early birthday! Thank you Frank for selling it to me and thank you Todd for making me a sweet birthday barlow without even knowing it.

Some good kindness from members here - way to go guys.

The photos look great also.

Jack - you're more than welcome my friend. I'm thrilled to know that you are so happy with it.

Todd - thanks again! You know that you nailed it when you blow the socks offf the guy that is almost single-handedly trying to save the Lambsfoot pattern from extinction. ;) :D

I certainly am Stephen, simply a fantastic knife :)

LOL! :D

Fantastic Stephen, really made me smile from ear to ear my friend :)

Jsega51, that your new TAD knife turned out to be # 1182 means it was meant to be your knife. Just took a little side trip on the way to it's true home. And, it is a fine looking knife too, but no need to say that because i don't think Todd can make an ugly knife.
Are the handles Snakewood ?
