TacticalBlade Finally Shipped the Knife

Hopefully there is some resolution for this situation in the very near future. I'm glad to hear that you may get your knife. Keep us all posted.

TacticalBlade sounds like a class act trying to scam someone out of a few hundred dollars while they are downrange in Afghanistan. If the mods don't ban, can they at least pull the "Tactical" from his user name so that he doesn't even have a word that could possibly be misinterpreted as him having any association with the military?
 
I wouldn't remove his name or any of his information from this thread until that Sebbie's in your hands. Let it fester online for a couple weeks so that anyone who googles Ryan Myrda or Classicellegancepens.com or classic elegance writing instruments knows what kind of guy they're dealing with. It's the least he deserves.

I like how he said he wants his name removed from this thread because his friends and family know that this isn't who he really is. I don't know, I read the post where he stated his family basically found out all of his lies. Looks to me they found out that the guy he is, is the guy that has attempted to screw multiple people on this forum. Taking his name off this thread should not be done. This guy has a track record of attempted theft and then having 2nd thoughts about his theft, and only making things right so they can clear their name. That's not remorse for doing bad, that's remorse for getting caught. I think keeping this info out there will only help others in the future, including the scammer. Who knows, someone may see this down the road and ask him about it, and he might be able to show how much he's changed for the better since these deeds were done.
 
A very shabby case indeed. Get's caught red-handed and then says he can't explain it? He should not have been allowed to continue trading here after the first incident, let alone this other one.

He also doesn't seem to know the difference between 'garnished' and 'tarnished' it's the latter word, and that's putting a very charitable gloss on it.......
 
Tell you what- give Ryan Myrda aka TacticalBlade 30 days to make good and clear his name!

At the end of the 30 days if he hasn't paid up I'll pay you the $330 he owes you- if you leave his name and information posted for posterity.

He should not have his name removed. He pulled this same song and dance four months ago! Telling people he screwed up, and thanking member x for pushing him in the right direction to "make things right"....true sociopath behavior...Things will not change with him....I give it a few months before another thread pops up. Sorry for spouting off while still an FNG, but people like him are the reason others are hesitant to trade. If he lived up the street from you, he would've been arrested by this point, and his name would forever be tarnished (technically not, he CAUSED it). Call a spade a spade.

I have personal experience with this though a cousin of my wifes...steal from his family, gets caught, cries, apologizes, repeat. It's the very reason we had to bury my wifes grandfather without his wedding ring, and my masonic ring....little scumbag stole his, along with his war medal to buy drugs.
 
I would leave his name whether he makes good or not. If he makes good, people will see his name: who he is, what he does, and what he has done. No reason not to leave something that can warn others of what they may be possibly getting themselves into should they decide to deal with Ryan Myrda.

Anyone who knows you knows that this is exactly who you are. Your lying to yourself if you think they don't; the worst part is, you seem to believe the lies you're telling others. Until you accept that this is your character, you won't change.

You can deal with this, and make it right, but IMHO you need to accept the consequences of what you've done here. If it was me, I'd leave this thread as is, and your real name would stay in it. You need to be prepared to have people question you about it down the road, and be prepared to lose future business because people choose not to do business with you.

Or you can keep lying to yourself.

While I agree that many of you have opinions on the matter I feel that if Lone_Wolfe and I have made a new agreement regarding how to fix this, any decisions should be Lone_Wolfe's to make. I'm making good. I'm requesting to be banned. I just dont want this following me down the road, once its posted on the internet, it isnt hard to find. I'm not a thief. I've made bad decisions, yes and I'm trying to make good. I deserve to be criticized for it, but not threatened with people showing up to my house, etc.

If personal information is deleted, nothing stops him from returning to the same behavior with a new username.
Since he himself understands he should be banned, banned he now is.

The tracking # posted was valid, and I got these pics emailed to me today. I'm still in Dubai, thus the need for pics.

It's the same knife as advertised, and it looks good. It was mailed when TacticalBlade said it would be. The delay in my getting the pics and posting this were from life issues far beyond non-reciept of a knife. I also haven't gotten the credit card/chargeback issue worked out, that'll apparently have to wait until I return to either Afghanistan or the US. As I said I would, I'm removing the real name from my title and posts. I'll ask that others do the same. I'm not too worried about TacticalBlade returning under a different username, as soon as he bought a paid membership the management here would have his ass in a wringer.
 
I hate to be a dick about it, but Tactical Blade does not need a paid membership to scam members here. He can do so just as easily as a registered user. because of this I am not editing any of the information from my previous posts. If Spark or a Super Moderator want me to edit the information then I will, but information is the only weapon we have against scammers and thieves in this community.
 
Man, being scammed sucks! Hope you get/got your knife. I'm in a similar situation right now with another member who joined more than 5 years ago! It's my first trade and I get scammed, just my luck=/
